A taste of World War II aviation history awaits when
you choose The Intro Flight package
in either the Boeing
N2S Stearman biplane trainer, the North
American AT-6 Texan advanced trainer,
or the North
American P-51 Mustang fighter. The
Intro Flight is perfect for a quick, exhilarating experience
as
an
introduction
to
the aircraft
that
taught our hero pilots of WWII.
The Intro Flight package includes an introductory
ground school briefing and 15
minutes in flight including
takeoff and landing (20 minutes
for the P-51!). It
may only be what pilot cadets called a "short
hop" but
the excitement of flying in our vintage trainers or
fighter will make
every moment
worthwhile! You won't want to come down!
In both the N2S Stearman and AT-6 Texan, you will
fly from the front seat, just like pilot candidates
during WWII, and you'll even have a brief opportunity
to "take the stick" and actually fly the
aircraft under the supervision of your instructor pilot.
In the Mustang, you'll fly in the back seat of
this specially modified P-51D.
All participants have the opportunity to fly the aircraft under the supervision of your instructor -- no pilot experience needed!
You and your instructor pilot in the back seat will
be in constant communication through our intercom system
and your flight may be catered to your wishes -- on
the fly! For the ultimate souvenir, our onboard video
camera system (sorry - unavailable on the Mustang)
can record your entire flight so you can show all your
friends
and
family
the flight
that "took
you back in time."
The Intro Flight package is perfect for passengers ages 7 and up and is great for local sightseeing and photo opportunities from the unique aerial point of view from a World War II trainer! Flight packages make great gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and special events too!
